SUPPORT TO THE PRODUCTION -  MAPA/VAD FESTIVAL

1.- Purpose of the call for entries :

Selection of an artist to spent 15 days of creative residence at the MAPA Festival of Pontós to produce an audiovisual work which has to be related to the landscape or the peasantry of the population of Pontós and that it will be presented at MAPA Festival and later at VAD festival.

This work should be framed within the theme of the next MAPA festival around the relationship between science and art.

The artist will have in mind that the work will be presented in the context of a site-specific festival as MAPA, and as part of a festival of video art as VAD. The project will need to be adapted for this dual presentation and the two different frameworks.

The chosen project can access the support and technical advice of Celrà’s LABfàbrica.

 

2.- Target:

-  Visual and audio-visual creators who live in Catalonia.

3.- Type of grant:

a) Financial contribution: 4000 €

b) Contribution and resources: Technical production by MAPA

c) Payment of travel and living expenses in Pontós during the dates, to be agreed with Cèl·lula

 

4.- Submission of applications :
